Dr. Newman-Toker is board-certified in both child & adolescent and adult psychiatry.
For the past ten years, she has worked with patients with all types of mental illnesses
and has particular expertise in treating patients with mood and eating disorders. In her
private practice, Dr. Newman-Toker takes an integrative approach to treatment, offering
both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. She is an adjunct Assistant Professor
at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where she teaches psychodynamic
