Sharon has been a licensed clinical social worker for 10 years, and has been in the
mental health field for over 15 years. She also teaches ballet and fitness classes and
understands the importance of the mind/body connection. Sharon has spent the last
12 years working in the prison system with male and female offenders as well as with
the youthful offender population. Sharon has also taught workshops on parenting
and on domestic violence.

Her interests include grief work, as she knows from personal experience how difficult
loss can be. She is also interested in simply helping people to attain their healthiest
selves by using what works for them. She hopes for people in therapy to learn about
their life patterns and to use this knowledge to make changes and adjustments where
necessary, and to be able to celebrate their strengths.
